A useful business receipt commonly identifies the seller, receipt number, payment date, what was purchased, amounts paid and the payment method or reference when relevant. Requirements vary by jurisdiction, tax system, business type and transaction, so review the finished receipt and add any information your situation requires.
A quote communicates proposed pricing before acceptance, an invoice requests payment, and a receipt records a payment that has already happened. Receipt Generator is intentionally a post-payment document tool and does not include an unpaid or partial-payment mode.
If money is still owed, use Invoice Generator. If pricing has not been accepted yet, use Quote Generator.
Each line amount is rounded to the selected currency's minor unit before the subtotal is added. An optional receipt-level discount is applied before the tax percentage. Tax is calculated only from the rate you enter; the app does not determine whether tax applies.
Use Payment method for a simple label such as cash, card or bank transfer. Use Payment reference for a non-sensitive transaction/reference value you are authorized to record. Receipt Generator does not verify the payment or connect to a payment provider.
You control the receipt number and payment date. The app does not auto-number receipts because it intentionally keeps no receipt history or accounting ledger.
Print / Save as PDF opens your browser's print workflow. If your browser or operating system offers a Save as PDF destination, choose it there. The app does not claim to generate a standalone PDF download directly.
Your typed receipt data stays in active page memory used by the Receipt Generator runtime. An optional PNG, JPEG or WebP logo is read locally for the current receipt. The app does not persist receipts to browser storage and does not upload receipt content or logo files.
Use Receipt Generator only for transactions you are authorized to document. It is not designed to fabricate proof of purchase, reproduce third-party merchant receipts, imitate bank or payment-service receipts, or provide branded store templates. It does not process payments, verify transactions, maintain accounting records, or guarantee tax or legal compliance.

| Total paid | $365.34 |

Include enough information to identify the issuer, payment date, receipt number, paid goods or services, amounts and any payment reference that belongs on your document. Local requirements can differ.
