Typing Speed Test Privacy Policy

Your typing test data

The app performs its typing test in your browser. The prompt position, printable attempts, mistakes, weak-key diagnostics, pace samples, and result remain in page memory. Typing Speed Test does not send that test data to a remote scoring service or save an app-owned result history.

No app account or automatic work storage

Typing Speed Test does not require an account. It does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or cookies to save typing-test sessions or result history. Refreshing, closing, or leaving the page can discard the current run.

Clipboard

The app requests clipboard writing only after you choose Copy result. The generated summary contains the visible result metrics and the app URL. If clipboard access fails or is unavailable, the app shows the same text in a local manual-copy field instead.

Shared appearance preference

Mycelgrid provides a shared System/Light/Dark appearance preference across its apps. That platform preference is separate from typing-test content and results.

This app is served as part of mycelgrid.com. The Mycelgrid Privacy Policy covers website-level information, hosting, cookies, analytics, advertising, and privacy choices that may apply outside the typing-test runtime itself.
