Reading Time Calculator privacy
How the app handles the text, word counts and settings used for an estimate.
Your work stays in the page
The calculator processes pasted text, direct word counts and WPM settings in your browser. The app does not send that work to a Mycelgrid calculation API or AI service.
No saved work history
The app does not save your text, word count or result in localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or cookies. Closing or leaving the page can lose the current work unless you have kept your own copy.
Appearance preference
Mycelgrid's shared System, Light and Dark appearance preference may be stored locally. That site preference is separate from the text and calculations in this app.
Normal website requests
Opening a web page normally requests the page and static assets from the hosting service. Those hosting requests are separate from the calculator's processing of your text.
