Mycelgrid Notepad keeps your Notes and Projects in this browser. The Notes tool does not upload your Note content. Clearing browser or site data, changing browser profiles, or losing the device can remove locally stored work, so download copies or a backup ZIP for work you want to preserve independently.
Download Notes backup creates one ZIP with your browser-local Notes, Project folders, and clean backup data. It is a portable download, not cloud sync. Restore into Mycelgrid Notepad is not available in this version.
Use the editor to write or paste a Note, organize it into a Project, and choose the download format that matches what you need to keep.
Use New Note to create an editable Note. A title identifies the Note in the library and search. Use Add block for headings, paragraphs, quotes, callouts, bullet or numbered lists, checklists, code, dividers, tables, links, details, and page breaks. The Reading view presents the formatted result; the editor keeps it editable.
Rich Markdown blocks are a convenience, not an exact reproduction of every Markdown extension. Check exported files when formatting matters.
Search Note titles and content from the Notes library. Filter by Project or format, and sort by time, name, or size. A Note keeps a limited recent version history: the origin entry plus recent saved snapshots, bounded to eight history records in total.
History snapshot bodies longer than 180,000 characters are not restorable. Restoring an eligible version creates a new Note copy rather than overwriting the original.
Download an individual Note as Markdown to preserve text structure, TXT for plain text, or JSON for structured data. Projects can be exported as Markdown, JSON, or ZIP. Use the browser's Print command to print a Note or save a PDF.
Download Notes backup creates a ZIP of locally saved Notes, Projects, and supported history. Restoring that ZIP inside Notepad is not available in this version.
Notes and Projects are saved in this browser on this device. Notepad does not upload your writing or sync it between devices. Clearing site data, changing browser profiles, storage failure, or device loss can remove access to locally stored work.
Download important Notes before clearing browser data. If saving fails, Notepad reports Not saved to this browser; download a copy before leaving the page.
Does deleting a Project delete my Notes? No. The Notes become Unassigned.
Can I open my Notes on a second device? Not automatically. Download and transfer copies yourself.
Can I import or restore a saved ZIP? No. Import and ZIP Restore are unavailable in this version.
