Microphone Test Privacy Policy

Microphone Test is designed so microphone audio can be tested locally in your browser.

Microphone access

The app asks the browser for microphone permission only after you choose Start microphone test. Permission itself is controlled by your browser and operating system.

Live audio

Microphone audio is analyzed in the current page to draw the waveform and calculate digital input level. The Microphone Test does not upload microphone audio to Mycelgrid.

Recording sample

If you choose Record sample, the recording is held in page memory and exposed to the local playback control through a temporary browser object URL. The app provides no recording upload or cloud history.

Browser storage

Microphone Test does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or cookies to save microphone recordings or test results. Refreshing, closing, or leaving the page can discard the sample.

Shared Mycelgrid services

The Mycelgrid Privacy Policy covers website information, cookies, analytics, advertising, and privacy choices outside the app-owned microphone audio path.
