Alphabetizer Terms
Use the app with its ordering rules and limits in view.
Alphabetizer is published by Mycelgrid LLC and is subject to the Mycelgrid Terms of Use. This page supplements those platform terms with the app's specific scope.
List-ordering scope
The app reorders supplied plain-text lines using the selected method. It does not determine meaning, priority, legal significance, citation correctness or surname fields. It does not sort spreadsheet columns, parse Word/PDF documents, execute your text, arrange letters within words or remove duplicates. English alphabetical/natural order depends on browser collation data.
Review your result
Case and edge-space options affect comparison keys. Equal keys retain input order. Line endings become LF, and a final terminator can be added to preserve an empty last record. Numbers only accepts the documented signed-decimal grammar and rejects unsupported lines; resource limits can prevent a sort or download. Review the output before using it in a consequential workflow.
Sessions and reports
Work is not automatically saved. Keep your own source files and download useful output before leaving. Reports contain the sorted list and rules; JSON includes original indices. They are not a promise of original-file byte identity or a restorable app session. You are responsible for the content you enter and any download you choose to share.
