PRIVACY

Webcam Test Privacy Policy

Webcam Test is designed so the camera stream used by the test remains in the current browser page.

Camera permission

The app requests camera access only after you choose Start webcam test. The request explicitly disables microphone audio.

Camera video

The live stream is displayed locally in the page. Webcam Test does not upload, record, save, or retain camera frames.

Device information

The app can display browser-reported information about the active camera track and available video inputs. This information is used in the current page and is not stored by the app.

Leaving the page

Stopping the test or leaving the page releases active video tracks. Webcam Test does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or cookies to preserve camera-test state.

Shared Mycelgrid services

Mycelgrid website services, including advertising or other site-level features when enabled, are separate from the camera stream. See the Mycelgrid Privacy Policy for site-wide information.
