REFRESH RATE TEST
Refresh Rate Test Manual
Use this manual to run a clean browser timing sample and understand the resulting estimated Hz, frame interval, timing stability, late browser frames, and run quality.
Prepare the test
Move the browser window fully onto the display you want to test. Keep the window in front and avoid resizing or rotating the device during the run.
Start the measurement
Choose Start refresh rate test. The app warms up browser animation timing for one second, then records five seconds of consecutive animation-frame intervals.
Read the result
The main number is Estimated refresh rate. The app also shows the closest common rate when within two percent, median frame interval, browser timing stability, late browser frames, sample count, and run quality.
Interrupted tests
If the tab becomes hidden, the window loses focus, the viewport is resized, or device orientation changes, the current run is discarded. Choose Test again for a clean sample.
Limits
The test does not directly read monitor hardware, determine maximum supported Hz, measure game FPS, diagnose a cable or GPU, detect VRR support, test ghosting, or score monitor health.
