About Refresh Rate Test

Refresh Rate Test is a focused Mycelgrid display-timing app. It estimates browser-observed presentation cadence from animation-frame timestamps and reports the result without pretending to read the monitor hardware directly.

Why the app stays focused

The app does not bundle a game FPS counter, ghosting benchmark, response-time test, GPU benchmark, screen-resolution test, dead-pixel test, or VRR certification. Those are distinct jobs.

Why the result is an estimate

Browser animation timing generally follows presentation cadence, but browser scheduling, dynamic refresh, operating-system behavior, power modes, and other system conditions can affect callbacks. The product therefore uses Estimated refresh rate as its primary result language.
