About Project Margin Calculator
Mycelgrid Project Margin Calculator is a free browser-local tool for freelancers and small businesses who want a project-specific Estimate-versus-Actual profitability view.
Separate from Margin Calculator
This app models one project's revenue, labor, delivery costs, fees, and Estimate-versus-Actual performance. The general Margin Calculator instead solves selling price, cost, gross profit, margin, and markup relationships.
Deterministic calculation
The app uses only the numbers you enter. It does not fetch accounting data, time-tracking data, exchange rates, tax tables, or market benchmarks.
Browser-local work
Your project numbers are calculated in this browser tab. Mycelgrid does not save a calculation history or send the values you enter to accounting, time-tracking, or affiliate partners. Downloads happen only when you choose them.
Version and publisher
Version 0.1.0. Published by Mycelgrid LLC. The calculation method is defined by Mycelgrid for this browser-local planning tool.
Professional boundary
Results are planning calculations, not accounting, tax, payroll, legal, or investment advice. The app does not determine which costs your business is required to recognize or how they should be classified in financial statements or tax filings.
Privacy, data and limits
Project Margin Calculator calculates entered project revenue, estimated and actual labor, contractor, direct-cost, overhead, and payment-fee values in this browser tab. It does not upload project numbers, maintain calculation history, or send them to accounting, time-tracking, or affiliate partners. Copy, download, and print occur only when you request them.
Results are before-tax project-planning calculations based solely on the amounts and assumptions entered, not a full accounting statement, tax determination, or certified profit report. JSON exports contain project inputs and can be imported locally; review exported files before sharing and retain your own copies.
