About Date & Time Calculator

Date & Time Calculator is a browser-based civil-date work surface for one Base date/time plus or minus one calendar-and-clock offset.

Deterministic model

The engine uses strict Gregorian date parsing, a 24-hour clock, integer civil days, and exact BigInt seconds. Browser timestamps and legacy JavaScript Date arithmetic do not determine the result.

Calendar and clock units

Years and Months are variable-length calendar units and are applied once with month-end constraining. Weeks, Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds are exact civil-time units applied afterward.

Timezone-free boundary

The result is a timezone-free civil date and time. It does not apply UTC offsets, named time zones, daylight-saving transitions, historical zone rules, or leap seconds.

What stays separate

Duration between two endpoints, date-only arithmetic, clock-only shifts, work hours, weekly time cards, time zones, business days, countdowns, age, payroll, and legal deadlines remain separate jobs.

Privacy, data and limits

Date & Time Calculator processes the Base date, Base time, and entered calendar/clock offset in this browser page. It does not upload calculator work or maintain an app-owned calculation history after the page is gone.

Results use deterministic Gregorian calendar-month arithmetic followed by exact civil seconds, with each day treated as exactly 24 hours. The app does not model UTC offsets, named time zones, daylight-saving transitions, leap seconds, holidays, business days, payroll rules, age, or legal deadlines. Use current date & time reads the device/browser clock only when you activate it.
