A LITTLE PERSPECTIVE
About Word Counter
A focused writing companion for understanding the text in front of you.
Know what you are measuring
Word Counter makes the length and shape of a draft easier to see. Paste or write text, check its words and characters, select a passage, and set a goal or maximum when your task calls for one.
Reading and speaking estimates use adjustable speeds. Paragraphs, actual lines, and approximate sentences add context. The numbers are most useful when their rules are visible, so the Manual and counting guide explain them plainly.
One workspace, one draft
The app processes text in your browser. It needs no account or database, and it does not automatically save your writing. Copy or download a draft to keep it. A JSON statistics report is separate from your text.
Its warm-paper and blue-ink design belongs to Word Counter. The small Mycelgrid bar connects you with the platform, and the shared appearance preference follows you between apps while each keeps its own colors.
