Calculation identity
The app uses unsigned 32-bit IPv4 arithmetic to derive the network block, masks, address counts, and usable range from the address and prefix you enter.
IPv4 scope
This version does not calculate IPv6, VLSM allocation, subnet splitting, IP geolocation, DNS, ping, traceroute, port scans, or public-IP discovery.
Local-first behavior
The current address and result stay in the active browser page. The calculator does not maintain an app-owned subnet history or cloud copy.
Privacy, data and limits
Subnet Calculator processes the current IPv4 address, CIDR prefix or subnet mask, and calculated result only in this browser page. It does not upload entered addresses or results, maintain an app-owned calculation history, account, cloud copy, or recovery service. Share App shares only the canonical app URL, not entered values or results.
Results are deterministic IPv4 subnet calculations. The app does not look up or detect your public IP, geolocate addresses, query DNS, ping hosts, run traceroute, scan ports or networks, allocate VLSM plans, or calculate IPv6. Verify network configuration changes against the documentation and requirements of the systems you administer.
