Mycelgrid Download Time Calculator is a browser-local arithmetic tool for data size, transfer rate, time, and optional efficiency scenarios.
Browser-local calculation
The calculator performs its primary arithmetic in the browser. It does not require an account, database, remote calculation API, or automatic work history.
What it does not measure
The app is not an internet speed test and does not inspect your network, monitor traffic, query an ISP, measure latency or packet loss, or determine actual download performance.
Unit definitions
Decimal SI units and IEC binary units are kept distinct. One byte is eight bits. GB and GiB are not treated as synonyms.
Estimation boundary
Real transfer time can differ because of congestion, protocol behavior, latency, storage performance, Wi-Fi conditions, remote-server limits, and other factors the app does not measure.
Privacy, data and limits
Download Time Calculator processes the current data-size, transfer-rate, time, efficiency inputs, and calculated result only in this browser page. It does not upload entered values or results, maintain an app-owned calculation history, account, cloud copy, or recovery service. Share App shares only the canonical app URL, not entered values or results.
Results are mathematical transfer estimates. The app is not an internet speed test and does not measure congestion, latency, packet loss, protocol overhead, retransmissions, remote-server limits, storage performance, Wi-Fi conditions, or ISP performance. Transfer efficiency is a user-defined modeling assumption rather than a claimed universal network overhead value.
