Quick answer

Start begins new work. Documents, Responses, Checkpoints, and Projects open their matching sections. About explains Workspace and local data handling. Search helps you find saved items.

Start

Start is the first screen inside Workspace. It is different from the Mycelgrid website Home page.

Use it to create a Document, capture a Response, import a Checkpoint, create a Project, or reopen recent work.

The main screens

Documents

Editable writing and imported text files.

Responses

Assistant answers saved as preserved records.

Checkpoints

Imported conversation packages.

Projects

Groups of related work.

Lists and open items

A section first shows a list of saved items. Select an item to open it.

On desktop, the list and the open item may appear together. On mobile, Workspace shows one main surface at a time. Return to the section to see the list again.

The bottom dock

The bottom dock keeps common actions within reach. Its labels change with the open item and current mode.

  • Start returns to the Workspace start screen.
  • Documents, Responses, Checkpoints, or Projects returns to the current section.
  • Reading or Editing changes the Document mode.
  • Save saves editable work. Preserved items may show Make copy instead.
  • More opens additional actions.
