Use this calculator as a deterministic civil-time arithmetic aid and verify important results against the records and rules that govern your task.
Calculation boundary
The app applies the proleptic Gregorian calendar to years 0001 through 9999 and treats every duration day as exactly 24 hours. Equal timestamps are valid zero; End before Start is rejected.
No timezone or DST determination
The app does not determine actual elapsed UTC time across timezone changes or daylight-saving transitions. It does not perform historical timezone lookup or leap-second arithmetic.
No payroll or legal determination
The result does not determine wages, overtime, payroll rounding, break-law compliance, business days, deadlines, or legal elapsed-time rules.
