About this notice

This notice describes Text Cleaner, published by Mycelgrid, and distinguishes text processing from ordinary website delivery. Contact privacy@mycelgrid.com with privacy questions.

Text you enter and files you open

The app processes pasted text and locally opened TXT/Markdown files inside your browser. Its cleanup operations do not send source text, results, or file contents to an application server. There are no accounts, cloud saves, or a database of cleanup sessions.

Source, results, options, and a bounded Undo history remain in the active page's memory. The app does not save user work to localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or a service-worker cache. Unsaved work is not guaranteed to survive closing, reloading, or navigating away. A browser may independently restore or cache page state; this app does not promise secure memory erasure or automatic recovery.

Clipboard and downloads

Copy writes the completed result to the clipboard only after you choose that action. Downloads create a file locally through your browser. These actions place information in destinations you control; your device, clipboard manager, or other applications may handle that information under their own settings.

TXT and Markdown exports contain the cleaned text. JSON reports include the result, selected options, and counts. Original text is excluded by default and can be included only by selecting the corresponding report option. Saved options contain settings without source/result text.

Website delivery

Loading the site still requires ordinary requests to the hosting provider and network infrastructure. Those services may process request information such as IP address, browser/request headers, requested URL, request time, and security or diagnostic information. Editor text is not placed in a URL or intentionally included in these requests.

The website is delivered through Vercel. Its Privacy Notice explains its services. We do not claim an exact infrastructure retention period that has not been verified for this deployment.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This app version does not add advertising scripts, an analytics product, or application cookies. Your Light, Dark, or System choice is stored in your browser as the shared Mycelgrid appearance preference, under mycelgrid:theme. This preference is reused across Mycelgrid pages and apps on this site and across reloads; it contains no editor text or cleanup settings. Clearing this site's browser data resets it to System. If browser storage is unavailable, the selected theme works on the current page without being saved. Hosting infrastructure and any preview-access service operate separately from the cleanup engine.

If optional third-party services are introduced later, this notice and applicable controls must be updated to describe what is actually enabled. Naming a possible future service does not mean it is active.

Contact messages and external links

If you email us, your email service and our mail provider handle the message, sender address, and related delivery information. We use information supplied in that message to respond to the request and investigate reported issues. Do not send sensitive documents or text; a short deidentified example is usually enough.

Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. The app does not share your editor contents through those links.

Questions, requests, and updates

For a privacy question or a request concerning information you have supplied to us, email privacy@mycelgrid.com and describe the request. We will assess it under applicable requirements. This app does not maintain a server-side archive of your editor text to retrieve.

We may update this notice when product behavior, infrastructure, or optional services change. The date above identifies this version.
