How to Read and Export Your 401K Projection
The result separates modeled contributions from modeled investment growth and provides a year-by-year schedule that every local export derives from the same active result.
Project balance result
The headline is the modeled ending 401(k) balance. Supporting metrics show employee contributions, employer match, estimated investment growth, first-year total contribution, current employee contribution rate, and years until retirement.
Target-mode result
The headline becomes the estimated employee contribution rate. Supporting metrics show the balance at that modeled rate, the current-rate comparison, first-year employee contribution, employer match, and estimated investment growth. An unreachable scenario explicitly shows the 100% modeled ceiling instead of a rate.
Employer-match facts
When matching is configured, the result shows the full configured match threshold, maximum first-year employer match at the starting salary, and the modeled first-year match left unclaimed at the active contribution rate.

Review before sharing
Exports can contain financial assumptions and modeled balances. Keep them only where you intend and review them before sending them to someone else.
