How to Review Responses and Create a Chat Checkpoint
After capture, Chat Checkpoint lets you inspect numbered assistant Responses, select the ones that matter, and package that selected evidence as local files.
Responses are assistant outputs
A Response is a numbered assistant output extracted from the captured conversation. You can select all, select none, or choose a subset. Individual Responses can be downloaded in Markdown, text, or a ZIP containing Markdown, text, and JSON.
What a Checkpoint contains
A Checkpoint packages the selected Responses together with capture metadata and checkpoint representations. The current Checkpoint ZIP includes the raw capture source, checkpoint Markdown/text/JSON, and files for each selected Response.
Choose the right download
Responses ZIP is for a collection of selected assistant Responses. Checkpoint ZIP is for a preserved selected set with checkpoint context. Continue ZIP adds continuation files for a new-chat handoff. Complete ZIP is the broadest package: it includes full-conversation copies, selected Response files, indexes, Checkpoint files, continuation files, and the raw capture.
Preservation is not editing
Selecting or packaging Responses does not rewrite their content. If you want to develop the preserved material into an editable document, import a compatible package into Mycelgrid Workspace and make a Document copy there.
