Mycelgrid policies
Privacy Policy
We believe people deserve to understand, in plain language, what happens to their information when they use Mycelgrid. This policy explains our website-wide practices. Individual tools may include additional Privacy & Data disclosures describing how that specific tool operates.
1. Who we are
Mycelgrid LLC (“Mycelgrid,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates mycelgrid.com and provides browser-based utilities, productivity tools, memberships, and related services.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on how you use Mycelgrid, you may provide information such as your name, email address, account details, membership information, billing-related details, and messages sent to support.
Account and membership information
If you create an account or purchase a membership, Mycelgrid processes information needed to create and authenticate your account, administer membership access, communicate with you, and provide support. Accounts and memberships are managed through WordPress and Paid Memberships Pro.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Mycelgrid does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers on its own servers. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Automatically collected information
Our website, hosting provider, security systems, analytics services, and advertising services may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, cookie identifiers, diagnostic logs, and security events.
3. Browser-local tools
Many Mycelgrid tools are designed to perform calculations or transformations directly in your browser. When a tool states that it processes input locally and does not upload that input to Mycelgrid for processing, that statement applies to the tool’s own processing behavior.
Each tool may provide a Privacy & Data disclosure explaining where processing occurs, whether input is transmitted or stored, whether an account is required, and whether external AI or cloud services are used.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Mycelgrid may use cookies or similar technologies for account authentication, membership management, security, preferences, analytics, and advertising. Where required, a cookie-consent banner or preference control may be provided. Your browser may also allow you to block or delete cookies, although some account or membership functions may not work correctly without essential cookies.
5. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, diagnose performance issues, and improve Mycelgrid and its tools. Analytics services may process device, browser, usage, referral, and approximate-location information. We do not use Google Analytics to inspect the text entered into a browser-local tool when that tool does not transmit the text for processing.
6. Advertising
Some public pages may display advertising provided through Google. Advertising technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers and may process information about visits or interactions in accordance with Google’s practices and applicable consent choices.
7. How we use information
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve Mycelgrid.
- Create and manage accounts and memberships.
- Process transactions and provide purchase-related support.
- Respond to questions and support requests.
- Measure performance and understand website use.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, attacks, and technical failures.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
8. How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information to providers that help us operate Mycelgrid, including WP Engine for hosting, WordPress and Paid Memberships Pro for accounts and memberships, Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for measurement, and Google advertising services on pages where advertising is used.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce agreements, or protect users, Mycelgrid, or the public.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing accounts and memberships, completing transactions, maintaining security and business records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by information type and service.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information under our control. No website, hosting environment, payment service, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use strong credentials and contact us if you suspect unauthorized account access.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information. You may also manage cookie choices through available consent controls and opt out of marketing communications using the instructions provided in those messages.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
12. Children
Mycelgrid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information improperly.
13. Third-party services and links
Mycelgrid may link to or use third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing information directly to a third party.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Mycelgrid changes. We will update the date shown above and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
